About

Spotted Dog Entertainment

SDE was formed in 2010 to bring a personalized approached to productions, no matter the size, scope or budget. SDE creates, develops and produces the highest quality entertainment whether its destination is the Internet, television screen or theater. The platforms are endless, but the mission is always the same: Do great work that connects to the audience.

Toward that end, SDE assembles the best team for the job. Working with leading producers, directors and editors, we create noteworthy live events, specials, scripted, non-scripted and short-form programming. SDE’s partners have been involved with such high profile events as Madonna: Sticky and Sweet, Black Eyed Peas: The E.N.D. World Tour, Eddie Izzard: Live from Wembley and Lewis Black: Stark Raving Black, to name a few.

Recently, SDE produced The Improv: 50 Years Behind the Brick Wall, a documentary that brought together comedians Jerry Seinfeld, Jimmy Fallon, Kathy Griffin, Judd Apatow, and many more to discuss the legendary comedy club where stand-up began. SDE also produced the Nantucket Film Festival’s Comedy Roundtable presented by Ben Stiller with Jim Carrey, Chris Rock and Bill Hader for the premium channel EPIX, and a 3-hour webcast for ComedyCentral.com, featuring today’s best known comedians, at the legendary Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival.
